Tha Flat in Suva, Fiji

<I leave this site up as a reminder of my time with Rose in Sawani st. Fiji. We have since moved out but this was my first home away from mum and dad. It was in my name and paid for by me. Enjoy.>

I have put together some photo's of my humble adobe here in Fiji. This is actually the first hose/flat/thing that I have moved into on my own so I am really proud of this. I know it's still being worked on but keep reading on and have a look inside. Taabish Akbar (my landlord) did a good job. <To begin with.>

Rough Layout of Flat

OK, so this is the rough layout of the place. The yellow is the wooden kitchen bench (you'll see later) the orange is actually polished floors! This is good for Fiji. Oh, and the white dots in between the letters is where I was too lazy to fill in the colour, so bite me!

The Outside

OK, So I know it doesn't look like much. But see the flat that looks finished....
The one with the pink veranda, that ones mine.

See, like I said. The one that is finished. Complete with ham-burglar bars and mosquito screens.

The Inside

This is just in the front door. You can see the 'entertainment' system. There is now also a X-BOX there as well however that was still in AUS when these photo's were taken.

The unit is fully furnished (kinda) but well enough for me to be happy. :-) The other bonus is that everything is new. The tweety is roses, I brought it for her the first time I went back to Aus. This way she had something to hug, he kinda bounces around the apartment.

WOW!! A Kitchen, I'm still yet to figure out what this thing was intended for...

More shots of that kitchen thing. And I also have a phone line for the phone too!! Only took them two months!!

Surprisingly this is not my part of the room!!! My half is actually (normally) clean. I remember a time when I had three holes in the garbage on my floor that allowed me to get to my bed, desk and cupboard. I guess I have grown up a bit from then...

This is a laundry thing, All I know is that when you leave your clothes in that magic
red basket they miraculously appear back in your cupboard cleaned and ironed.
Sometimes they are even bleached... And pink is not the normal colour.

This is the hot water system, how cool is that. The little white
box heats up the water as it flows through it! Well I think that's awsome.

And I saw this shower curtain and fell in love, I so often forget why
I am in a bathroom, it really keeps me on track.
